The Delhi Chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organisation, a global network of entrepreneurs met with industrialist Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of JSW Group at an exclusive event hosted at Jindal House. Moderated by Vishesh Chandiok, National Managing Partner Grant Thornton, Sajjan Jindal shared his experiences on transforming India's steel industry and his vision for the future. The audience gained candid insights into Mr. Jindal's personal & business life.
Topics ranged from current affairs such as the effects of demonetization on business and how it should be considered as an exciting phase in India's progress. Jindal emphasized that the step is but a minor inconvenience compared to the long-term positive impact and the bright future it heralds for the nation. He also believed that the current government is very serious about Make in India programs regularly engaging Indian industry with a view to removing impediments and encouraging domestic manufacturing.
Jindal also shared several invaluable experiences from his journey of being an entrepreneur. How his father and his biggest inspiration, OP Jindal guided his sons to support each other. He shared some moments from his personal life and the support that he got from his family during the initial phases of his career. How reminisced about his about his years in Vijayanagar, spending time with his family and giving his children a front row seat to how entrepreneurs work tirelessly to succeed. He emphasized the importance of employee satisfaction and communication as cornerstones of any business.
Jindal also reiterated that Forums like EO New Delhi soundboards and support systems for entrepreneurs where one can share experiences with peers, get different perspectives and motivation to strive further.
