Samsung launches Galaxy smartphones in UP market

 

Samsung India today launched two fresh models of its top-selling Galaxy J series of smartphones in the Uttar Pradesh market.

Galaxy J2 2016 and Galaxy J Max have been priced at Rs 9,750 and Rs 13,400 respectively.

Samsung director (mobile business) Vishal Kaul said Galaxy J2 2016 was the latest version of Galaxy J2 launched in 2015, which was presently India's top selling smartphone.

He said it was an addition to Samsung's 4G enabled smartphone portfolio, which formed over 60 percent of the 4G market in India.

Kaul further said Galaxy J Max with 7-inch display was designed for complete entertainment experience on a mobile device. With over 50 percent of online video consumption occurring on mobile devices, Samsung's proprietary Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode enabled saving up to 50 percent mobile data, he added.
