Samsung India today announced the commencement of exports of Made-in- India refrigerators, the second product category in its consumer electronics and home appliances portfolio, that would be exported from India in addition to colour televisions.Ravinder Zutshi, director (sales and marketing) of Samsung India, said: "The refrigerators would be exported to Africa, West Asia and CIS countries. Initially, we plan to export 50,000 frost-free refrigerators in various capacities ranging from 180-380 litre this year.""The company is also planning to export the refrigerators to Saarccountries in the near future," Zutshi said, adding Samsung is also aiming at exporting 1 lakh colour TVs from the Noida facility this year.
