Sanwaria Agro launches Narmada edible oil in 0.5 ltr pouches

Soyabean processor Sanwaria Agro Oils Ltd has launched half a litre pouches of edible oil brand 'Narmada'.     

Sanwaria Agro Oils Ltd (SAOL) is already selling Narmada brand in one litre pouch as well as in pet bottle.

It also has two to 15 litre packings, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange today.     

SAOL produces refined and crude soya oil, lecithin, soyameal and acid oil. It sells other range of edible oils under the brand name of 'Sulabh' and 'Sanwaria' attracting different segments of consumers.     

Narmada is the premium segment brand for middle and upper-middle-class consumers, while Sulabh and Sanwaria are for lower-middle-class.     

The company's scrip closed at Rs 90.50, down by 4.54 per cent.

It had touched an intra-day low of Rs 88 and nearly 3,000 shares were traded on the bourse.
