SAP, the 7.4-billion business software solutions major has announced that it would double its workforce at the development centre in Bangalore from the current 1,000 people in the next three years.
Encouraged by the fact that India has emerged as the top three markets in the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan, SAP has also said that it would continue to expand its operations in India.
Speaking to media persons during his first visit to India, Henning Kagermann, CEO, SAP, stressed on the importance of innovation and the benefits of IT which is helping innovation.
