The World Bank has major plans of outsourcing over $10-$15 million IT work to India in the next 12 months through partners and its centre in Chennai.
It had recently floated a global contract and it is understood that the contract has been awarded to Satyam Computer Services, with which the group has been working for sometime now. The bidding process was held recently.
