Global IT solutions provider Satyam Computer Services has acquired land to set up two special economic zone (SEZ) notified facilities in Vishakhapattanam and Nagpur to accomodate more than 18,000 software professionals over the next three to four years.

The company is also looking at Malaysia and Australia as its next overseas destinations for growth in IT services segment.

Meanwhile, the company today launched its new development centre with a seating capacity of 5,000 professionals in Pune.

The new SEZ-notified unit will service Satyam's global clients in engineering solutions, SAP and financial services segments.

The new centre in Pune will be fully operational within 20 months.
