Satyam Computers is planning to launch the Satyam School of Leadership (SSL), a corporate university, to develop and nurture leaders to accelerate the company's growth.According to a release issued by Satyam to the BSE today, international leadership expert Ed Cohen has been appointed as senior vice president of SSL." The strategic intent behind the evolution of the Satyam School of Leadership is to create an establishment that engenders full life cycle leadership capabilities - i.e. leaders who can provide integrated state-of-the-art business solutions to their stakeholders," the release added.Ramalinga Raju, chairman of Satyam, said: "Satyam School of Leadership is built on the philosophy of expanding the entrepreneurial energy at Satyam, and help us keep pace with the ever-changing business environment. This initiative would initially cover about 5% of our associates, and aims to cover over 10% of Satyam's associate base in the next few years."
