State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ), the largest associate bank of SBI, today reported a 23.4% increase in net profit to Rs 163.94 crore for the quarter ended December, 2011.
The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 132.46 crore for the third quarter last fiscal.
Total income of the lender increased to Rs 1,810.06 crore during the October-December quarter from Rs 1,351.80 crore in the same period last year, SBBJ said in a filing to the BSE.
During the first nine months of 2011-12, the bank clocked a 11.6% rise in net profit to Rs 404.15 crore from Rs 362.12 crore in the same period a year ago.
The bank reported a total income of Rs 4,893.54 crore in the first three quarters, compared to Rs 3,867.80 crore in the same period last financial year.
