SBI Mutual Fund has hiked its stake in Welspun India to 5.88%.According to a release issued by Welspun India to the NSE today, SBI Mutual Fund has acquired an additional 7,25,000 shares, aggregating to 0.9919% of the total paid-up capital of the compnay, on October 13, 2005."After the acquisition, SBI Mutual Fund now holds 42,98,001 shares totalling 5.88% of the capital of the company," the release added.
