MatrixOne India, the subsidiary of Scandent Solutions Corporation, has signed a $1.5 million deal with Ashok Leyland to provide an end-to-end product lifecycle management (PLM) solution for the company.According to a release issued by Scandent to the BSE today, the PLM implementation will help Ashok Leyland streamline its manufacturing processes relating to new products and application development, supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing.The solution is intended to significantly reduce its vehicle development time and improve operating margins, the release added.
