Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is setting up a training institute on the outskirts of Mumbai to educate and train investors and other stakeholders on the capital markets.The institute would have six different schools with various topics to train and educate investors on the markets, SEBI chairman M Damodaran said here last night."The institute will be the first-of-its-kind in the world run by a regulator," he added.The institute would offer different programmes including a Ph.D on the capital market and regulators, Damodaran said.Sebi is also planning to hold seminars to update journalists, particularly deskpersons of financial newspapers, on the happenings in the capital markets, he added.
