The Japanese auto major said that the concept car represents a possible direction for the future expansion of Datsun model in high growth markets, such as India.
The new concept will be unveiled on February 5 at India Expo Mart at Greater Noida Delhi NCR.
Nissan announced the return of the Datsun brand in March 2012, saying the brand will target high growth markets. Datsun vehicles will start sales in India, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa from 2014.
