Seed Healthcare, Jordan-based company join hands

To jointly offer cloud based solutions for Healthcare providers.

Pune-based healthcare solutions provider, Seed Healthcare Solutions Private Limited (SHS), has released its 'Palash software solution on cloud technologies for hospitals and clinics. It has partnered with CtrlS, a data centre facility to undertake this pioneering effort for the healthcare segment. This was announced by Narendra Barhate, CEO, SHS and Dinesh Samudra, director, Seed Healthcare Solutions during a press conference held in the city on Wednesday.

"Palash is developed on public and private cloud that will enable healthcare providers to move from capex model to opex model for their IT needs. This will not only increase their overall operational efficiency but will also free them from making huge capital investments that are generally made in IT infrastructure for their facility IT enabled. The solution has so far been successfully implemented at over 90 clinics in India, UAE and Netherlands. Apart from solutions based on private could, we have also introduced a subscription based model for public cloud and have launched the same for the IVF Clinics across India. Subscription-based delivery model will soon be launched for General Practitioners Clinics as well, said Narendra Barhate, Director, Seed Healthcare.

According to Barhate, this solution will help the hospitals to reduce their operational cost by 50 to 60 per cent.

The company has formed a joint venture with a company called Health Information Systems in Amman, Jordan. This 50:50 joint venture would be known as 'Health 3 Operations' and would primarily focus upon tapping the healthcare segment in Middle East region and the North American countries.

"Though, Seed already has a presence there with some installations, this JV will facilitate faster growth in this region, which has good market potential, since our JV partner has been in the healthcare segment in this region for the past many years. Their market knowledge and local infrastructure and our flawless technology will make way for growth in the region", said Dinesh Samudra, director, SHS.

SEED Healthcare under the brand of H3O will launch multilingual (English & Arabic) version of its Healthcare IT Solution by March 2012 in GCC countries.

H3O has already bagged three orders in Jordon and one order in Dubai, UAE, with-in just three months of its operations. PALASH based applications for iPad & Android Tablets have also been developed by Seed Healthcare and thus has become the first Indian company do so in the healthcare segment.
