Seeks to sell Scorpio in Russia

Mahindra & Mahindra is in talks with Russian automobile company GAZ Motors Works for a joint venture, said Pawan Goenka, president, automotive segment, Mahindra & Mahindra.

Through this venture, M&M initially plans to sell the upgraded version of its utility vehicle Scorpio in Russia.

"We have identified GAZ as our automotive partner in Russia," Goenka said. "The talks are still on and we expect to finalise something by this year," he said. He declined to give any additional details.
