Selvakesari to head Citi's Asia- Pacific consumer banking business

Anand Selvakesari has been promoted to head the consumer banking business of Citi in Asia-Pacific. In this new role, effective from Wednesday, he will manage the retail banking, wealth management, cards and mortgages business in 12 markets.

Till now, he was heading the consumer banking businesses in the Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) cluster, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam as well as India. Selvakesari will be taking over from Jonathan Larsen who will now be focusing on his role as global retail banking and mortgage head with additional responsibilities of US retail banking and mortgage.
