Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), today announced increase in freight rate on cargo moving ex-Indian sub-continent to European sectors at $200/TEU with effect from November 1.
The increase is for all the bookings to north Europe, the UK, Mediterranean and Black Sea trades, a press release issued here stated.
The Rate Restoration is imperative at this point to meet the overall operations costs, and, hence, make the service viable, it said.
"As usual, SCI will continue to operate the service with a high-level of reliability, proficiency and overall fast services that its customers have come to expect," the company said.
