Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has posted a 34% drop in net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 at Rs 182.01 crore when compared with Rs 274.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.According to an official release issued by SCI to the BSE today, total income has decreased to Rs 800.80 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 from Rs 815.92 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.
