Shourya to build township in Amritsar

After Advance India Projects Ltd, construction major Noida-based Shourya Towers Private Ltd, a unit of the Nitishree group, is planning to construct a township in Amritsar with an initial investment of Rs 350 crore.
 
The project is targeted at Non-Resident Indians, and is likely to be completed in two years of commencement.
 
Spokesperson Sanchita Biswas said, "Keeping in mind the demand for international-style townships, Shourya Towers is coming up with Shourya NRI City, spread over 150 acres, and work on this township is likely to start in April on Grand Trunk Road NH I, comprising both residential and commercial complexes, just 8 km from the Golden Temple. This project has been conceptualised by world-renowned Architect SAA, Singapore."
 
The residential area will have modern infrastructure with apartments, kothies and villas. There will be other facilities like a premium club, a ladies' club, a splash pool, an indoor games arena, a banquet hall, a super-specialty hospital, and provision for a helipad. These twin townships will have platinum villas that are expandable and ready to move e.g. villas can be stretched from 250 sq. yds to 500 sq. yds.
 
It will also have green belts that would possess features like mediterranean façade, manicured gardens etc. Plots would be available in different sizes like 175, 250,400,500 square yards and would;d cost about Rs 4475 per square yard.
 
She added further that this township would also have provision for a magnificent mall with a difference comprising of a large sized atrium giving visibility to all shoppers and shops.
 
An ethnic touch will be created to increase the footfall in the mall and the shoppers can also enjoy Laser shows (Singapore Island Type) from Suntech City.
 
Commenting upon the future plans she added," we are continuously crossing geographical and man-made barriers with projects worth Rs. 2555 crores in hand and in this fiscal year, we have an expansion plan of Rs. 1000 crores approximately.
 
As far as Punjab goes, Shourya Towers plans to come up with series of projects that would cover Ludhiana and Chandigarh other than Amritsar and ongoing Jalandhar.
