Shree Renuka Sugars today said its net profit jumped more than double at Rs 3.68 crore for the fourth quarter ended September 30, over the corresponding period a year ago.
The company had a net profit of Rs 1.28 crore for the same quarter last fiscal, Shree Renuka Sugars said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income rose to Rs 63.63 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008, as against Rs 24.63 crore in the same quarter last year.
Further, board has approved a dividend of 20 per cent (Rs 0.20 per equity share of Re 1 each) for the year ended September 30.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 57.25, down 1.29 per cent on the BSE.
