A 21-member business delegation from Singapore, known as Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is visiting India for a week-long business visit.
The delegation, including Singapore's Deputy Speaker of Parliament Indranee Rajahled, is led by SICCI Chairman R Narayanamohan and would meet business association and government officials, besides attending the ninth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas', starting from today.
"The convention and Vibrant Gujarat Summit provide important platforms for our members to meet with like-minded Indians from all over the world who are keen on tapping on the opportunities in India," said SICCI chief executive officer Harnaikh Singh.
The delegation will also attend the Vibrant Gujarat fifth Global Summit in Gandhinagar over the weekend.Singapore officials and businessmen are regular at the PBD convention, said the SICCI.
The visit, which ends on January 14, is supported by the country's trade promotion agency, International Enterprise Singapore.
