Kolkata-based Simplex Infrastructure has today posted a 55 per cent increase in its fourth quarter net profit at Rs 50 crore, as compared to Rs 29 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's net sales however fell by 10 per cent to Rs 1,250 crore from Rs 1,385 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company has also informed the stock exchanges that the company's board recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2010.
