Singapore Air offers special fare to Australia

Singapore Airlines has announced an internet promotional fare of Rs 20,000 to key cities in Australia.

Under its new internet promotional Midnight Escapades scheme, travellers can book a return economy ticket, only through singaporeair.com using their credit card either directly or through travel agents, to Australia from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Amritsar and Ahmedabad at a fare of Rs 20,000 per person.

The airline offers this fare to locations in Australia such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, a company statement said.

However the fare does not include taxes and surcharges as these are additionally charged. The offer is available for purchase till May 8, and is valid for travel out of India till 31 May 2006.

"The cooler weather in Australia at this time makes it the perfect holiday get-away for the leisure travellers. They also get a chance to see Singapore on their way back. Two cities in one trip - that is value for money," B K Ong, general manager - India, Singapore Airlines, said in the statement.
