Singapore Airlines' offer

Singapore Airlines has announced a 'Sweet Deal' of Rs 11,099 (Rs 4,999 plus taxesosurcharge of Rs 6,100) to Singapore ex-Bangalore. The company said, that this offer is a 70 per cent discount on present lowest economy return fare to Singapore ex-Bangalore by Singapore Airlines.
 
Announcing the special fare, B K Ong, general manager, India, Singapore Airlines said, "Karnataka continues to be an important market for us. We want to give more opportunities for people to fly Singapore Airlines and experience our service.
 
At the same time they get to see exotic Singapore that has so many attractions to offer from sightseeing, shopping, food, entertainment, the arts to lifestyle experiences."
 
This 'Sweet Deal' offer is on sale over a two-week period from April 17 to April 29 and for travel out of Bangalore from April 17 till May 31, 2006. Passengers can make the purchases through their travel agents, Singapore Airlines or online through its website singaporeair.com. Outbound travel is restricted to travel on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday flights only, while the return can be made on any flight as per the availability.
 
Singapore Airlines, which started operations to Chennai in 1972, operates 47 weekly flights to eight destinations in India viz. double daily flights to Mumbai, daily flights to Delhi and Chennai, five times weekly to Bangalore four times weekly to Kolkata and Hyderabad and, three times weekly each to Ahmedabad and Amritsar.
 
In addition, its subsidiary regional airline SilkAir operates five flights to Kochi and four flights to Thiruvananthapuram. Singapore Airlines, a Star Alliance member, flies to 91 destinations in 37 countries and will be the first airline in the world to fly the Airbus A380 in 2006.
