Plastics product maker Sintex Industries today said its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 rose by 7.27 per cent to Rs 60.58 crore over the same period last year.
The company had a net profit of Rs 56.47 crore in the same period ended June 2008, Sintex Industries said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
On a standalone basis the company has posted a net profit of Rs 48.22 crore for June quarter ended current fiscal, up 10.31 per cent from Rs 43.71 crore in the same period last year.
Shares of Sintex Industries were trading at Rs 192 on the BSE, up 1.75 per cent from previous close.
