Textiles and apparel firm S Kumars Nationwide (SKNL) today posted a 12.47 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 77.89 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2010 over the same period last fiscal.
The company had a net profit of Rs 69.25 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2009, SKNL said in a statement.
During the quarter, the company's income from operations increased by 26.9 per cent to Rs 1,211.42 crore from Rs 954.46 crore posted in the year ago period.
"The company has demonstrated an ability to deliver improving to deliver improving and sustained performances through variable and often challenging environments," SKNL said.
