SkodaAuto India is planning to increase prices from January 2006."The prices of 12 models from SkodaAuto India will go up between Rs 15,000-30,000," Imran Hassen, managing director of SkodaAuto India, said today after the launch of the latest model Laura.He, however, added that the hike in prices would not be applicable to Laura, which comes at a tag of Rs 16,81,081 (ex-showroom Delhi).Hassen also announced plans to launch two new versions of Octavia in January and March.Skoda is aiming at sales of about 4,000 units of Laura in the next 12 months. Based on the A5 platform, Laura comes with six-speed transmission powered by a 1896cc diesel pumpe duse engine.
