The plant, with an installed capacity of 172,080 metres per annum (MPA) of rubber conveyer belts with 2,000 mm width, is coming up at Tanawara village in Jodhpur. The capacity can also be stretched up to 200,000 MPA.
The company manufactures rubber conveyor belts of various sizes used for industrial applications of material handling in various industries such as coal, lignite, iron ore, mining, cement, power, steel, fertiliser and sugar etc.
"The company has also recently introduced food grade belts for tea gardens and salt industries," said O P Bhansali, chairman & managing director of the company.
"The commercial production is expected to commence by August, 2008 and the company is going in for a major expansion of its operations through this project," he added.
"Our company plans to expand its capacity to 339,740 MPA from 167,660 MPA. This expansion would not only increase the production capacity of our company but would also enable us to manufacture the rubber conveyor belts of 2,000 mm width," Bhansali said.

The company can now manufacture rubber conveyor belts up to of 1,200 mm width.
The company also proposes to reduce the operational costs by adding new and latest technologies and processes.
The new plant & machinery will enable the company to manufacture quality rubber conveyor belts, reduce the wastage, and also reduce the manpower requirements.
The new unit will not only enable the company to manufacture conveyor belts of different configurations but also serve overall conveyor belting needs of different industries.
The company's total income for FY 2007 was at Rs 15.48 crore and PAT at Rs 1.34 crore as against total income of Rs 7.47 crore and PAT of Rs 10.84 lakh for FY 2005. Total income for the first 9 months of FY 2008 ended 31st December 2007 was Rs 11.81 crore and PAT at Rs 95.80 lakh.
