Sonata Software forms advisory board to identify new growth areas

Company in process of refreshing its focus on core services, domains and geographies and strengthening its talent pool

Bangalore-based IT services company Sonata Software has constituted an advisory board which will guide the company in identifying newer technology trends and growth opportunities.

The board constitutes of three members including Jnan Dash, a former top executive at Oracle; Sriram Dasu, an associate professor of Information and Operations Management at the Marshall School of Business; and Naresh Wadhwa, former president and country manager of Cisco System who is now a president in V Raheja Group.

Srikar Reddy, MD & CEO of Sonata Software said the collective expertise of the board would play an important role in defining the company’s growth trajectory and in tapping emerging opportunities that would shape the future of the IT services market.

The Bangalore-based company is in the process of refreshing its focus on core services, domains and geographies and strengthening its talent pool.

In the quarter ended September 30, 2013, Sonata Software had reported Rs 425 crore in its consolidated revenues, a growth of 15 percent as compared with the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
