Sonata Software has reported a 69% rise in net profit for FY06 at Rs 27 crore as against Rs 16 crore in FY05. According to an official release issued by the company today, FY06 revenue rose 54% to Rs 507 crore as against Rs 329 crore in FY05. Net profit in Q4FY06 rose 71% to Rs 7.7 crore as against Rs 4.5 crore in Q4FY05. The revenue increased 121% in Q4FY06 to Rs 180 crore as compared to Rs 81 crore in Q4FY05. "Growth during the year is a result of the focussed strategy for organic growth, executed over the last three years. Demonstrating business value to customers, through differentated solutions and partnership, has been and will be the driver for sustained growth," B Ramaswamy, president & managing director of Sonata Software, said.
