Sonata Software Q4 net up 9.05 pc to Rs 18.78 cr

IT firm Sonata Software today said its consolidated net profit rose by 9.05 per cent to Rs 18.78 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
    
Total operating income, however, declined to Rs 326.24 crore for the March quarter from Rs 370.69 crore for the same period corresponding fiscal, Sonata Software said in a filing to the Bombay Stck Exchange.
    
The company posted a net profit of Rs 79.87 crore for the year ended March 31 against Rs 76.56 crore for the same period a year ago.
    
The company has recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.80 per share.
    
Shares of Sonata Software today closed at Rs 61.85 on BSE, down 5.50 per cent from its previous close.
