Low-cost carrier SpiceJet today announced life-time free travel for Indian boxer Vijendra Kumar, who won the bronze medal in the Beijing Olympics.
SpiceJet Chief Commercial Officer Samyukth Sridharan said: "We have had three Indians winning the coveted medals in different disciplines. We are delighted to welcome Vijendra into our family of SpiceJetters by offering him unlimited free personal travel for life along with Abhinav Bindra and Sushil Kumar."
Abhinav Bindra, gold medalist in men's 10m air rifle in the Beijing Olympics, was the first person to receive the offer by the airline.
Wrestler Sushil Kumar was awarded the offer after winning the bronze medal in freestyle wrestling in the Beijing Olympics.
