Low-cost carrier Spicejet today announced a special fare of Rs 99 only on 21,000 select seats to commemorate its first anniversary.According to an official release issued today, the sale of the tickets, which can only be booked online from the airline's website, will open tomorrow. The anniversary fares will be available till September 6 and will be applicable for all 49 flights covering 11 cities, the release added."Last one year has been a great experience for us and we would like to share this excitement with our valued patrons," Siddhanta Sharma, CEO of Spicejet, said.In the first year of operations, the airline had carried over 1,600,000 passengers on its network, and recorded the highest load factor of over 86% si Rs99nce launch. It achieved 99.5% flight dispatch reliability and maintained over 90% on-time performance, the release said.
