SpiceJet will be the official carrier for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL circuit, the airline said in a statement.
"SpiceJet is proud to be associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad, as it provides us a great platform to promote our brand in a country where cricket enjoys almost a cult like following. IPL matches are popular not just in India but also in the neighbouring countries that are rapidly coming under our fast expanding network," said SpiceJet, Chief Executive Officer, Neil Mills.

"I have no doubt that the tie-up with Sunrisers Hyderabad team will help build a greater connect with our target audience," he added.
Sunrisers Hyderabad is owned by Sun TV Network Ltd, the flagship company of the Sun Group, which also has SpiceJet among its several investments.
The airline is running a contest on Twitter and Facebook which gives the contestants a chance to be present at the toss with the skippers and the match referee during all matches of Sunrisers, apart from opportunities to win SpiceJet/Sunrisers branded merchandise, the airline said.
The airline currently operates more than 350 daily flights to over 50 Indian cities and 8 international destinations.
