Sriram launches pistons

In its efforts to introduce better and more refined engine accessories, Sriram Pistons and Rings Ltd, which markets its products under the brand name "Usha", launched in Agra a model of piston sets for the Tata-697 LCVs.

In a meeting held last week, attended by the company dealers and workshop owners, the company's Senior General Manager U K Jham said the piston set, branded Tata"�697 GT, had been developed by the company after a long research of two years and was best suited for being fitted in the 697 model LCVs launched by Tata motors.

He said the new piston set had been designed using specially formulated metal alloys, with outstanding engine performance even at high temperatures.

On the occasion, the company's Sales Manager A S Pawa announced special marketing incentives for dealers and retailers who achieved the sales targets set by the company.
