StanChart to open 40 branches, 300 ATMsBS Reporter / Kolkata April 16, 2008Ahead of the banking sector review in 2009, Standard Chartered Bank is planning to beef up its presence in India in an aggressive manner. The bank has applied for opening 40 branches in the country during the current financial year.
