Station-e, a language laboratory that focuses on training in various aspects of the English language, is planning to open 100 new language labs in the next two years across the country for an investment of Rs 30 crore.
Presently, Station-e has seven laboratories in three states.
“We are preparing to expand our network plan to add 100 language labs in the coming two years. Of these 100 new language labs, 25 will be in franchisee models while the rest will be owned by Station-e. We need Rs 40 lakh for setting up one laboratory,” said, Haresh Tank, director, Station-e.
Station-e is also in talks with nine countries including China and the US, and with countries in Africa and the Gulf region, to start centres. But, this will take some time, saidTank.
It is going to include intelligence quotient (IQ), emotional quotient (EQ) and spiritual quotient (SQ) based life skills and soft skills courses which includes personality development, presentation skill, how to give interview, body language identification, social communications and several other courses to its overall offering.Station-e now teaches English through scientific methods, claimed the company.
“Today, everyone needs to have knowledge about English but the major issue is about presentation. We are particularly focusing on fresh professionals and higher education students. IQ, EQ and SQ level training will built develop skills to tackle problems and help to cerate own personality,” Tank said.
Station-e started in the year 2006 and operates language labs at Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, and Surendranagar in Gujarat. Station-e has one lab in Mumbai and one lab in Chennai. More than 10,000 students have taken training so far.
