Sterling Addlife to promote medical tourism in Africa

In order to promote medical tourism for Gujarat, Vadodara-based Sterling Addlife India Limited plans to set up office in Africa.

Sterling Addlife, which owns the Sterling hospitals in Vadodara and Ahmedabad, has been awarded the National Accredited Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH), Rajiv Sharma, chief executive officer told PTI.

According to Sharma, the recognition by NABH will encourage the Non Resident Gujaratis (NRG) and other foreign nationals to take treatment in these hospitals. The whole Accredition process of sterling hospitals by NABH reflects the capability, depth of knowledge, effectiveness and the management’s commitment in driving an effective quality management system, he said.

Sterling hospital is on strengthening policies, procedures and protocols, reviewing performance through patient satisfaction, conducting audits and training the staff, Sharma said, adding “Sterling hospital is one of the largest chain hospital in Gujarat and has invested around Rs 200 crore.”
