Sterling Biotech has posted a 16% jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q2CY06) at Rs 30.61 crore when compared with Rs 26.39 crore for Q2CY05. According to an official release issued by Sterling Biotech to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 143.66 crore for Q2CY06 from Rs 120.56 crore for Q2CY05.
