Su-Kam power back-up and battery firm on Monday re-opened its renovated tubular battery plant in Baddi. “The unit has been renovated to increase the capacity of the plant,” said Kunwer Sachdev, MD Su-Kam, after inaugurating the plant.
“The company has recently launched Pico, the digital,portable 100 VA home UPS, which runs regular appliances. Power Doc, a power protection system against voltage fluctuations,” said Sachdev.
Su-Kam has also launched shark 2500 VA and digital home UPS to run IT hardware and major appliances in offices and homes. The Shiny home UPS provided 100 per cent pure AC power equal to a grid power, said Sachdev.
“The plant has strengthened its productivity line through its renovated Baddi plant. It will increase productivity and churn out more batteries”, he said.
Su-Kam is a Gurgaon-based company and claims to be the only power back-up firm in the country to be recognised for its R & D by the department of science and technology in New Delhi.
