IT firm Subex today said its consolidated net loss in the third quarter of current fiscal stood at Rs 15.7 crore, whereas the same was at Rs 4.2 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
However, income from operations rose to Rs 162.12 crore in December quarter of the current financial year from Rs 142.53 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal, the company said in a statement.
"The company has overcome the problems it had faced over the past few quarters. This improvement is seen in the operating profit recorded in the current quarter," Subex founder Chairman, Managing Director and CEO Subash Menon said.
For the nine-month period ended December 31, the telecom software product company posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 153.07 crore, while the same was at Rs 17.53 crore last fiscal.
Subex is a leading global provider of operations and business support systems. It has more than 300 installations across 70 countries.
Shares of the company today surged 10 per cent and closed at Rs 31.35 on the National Stock Exchange.
