On standalone basis Sun TV Network net profit of Rs 366.98 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 grew by 36 per cent as compared to Rs 268.8 crore for FY07. Total income has increased from Rs 726.4 crore for the FY07 to Rs 926 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008.
The company announced a dividend at the rate of 50 per cent on the face value of equity shares of Rs 5 each, i.e. Rs 2.50 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2008.
