Sun TV Q2 net at Rs 80crBS Reporter / Mumbai October 24, 2007Chennai-based Sun TV today reported a net profit of Rs 80.16 crore for the quarter ended September 2007 as against Rs 47.96 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.Total income increased to Rs 208.76 crore from Rs 105.90 crore. The results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 and year ended March 31, 2007 include the results of the erstwhile GTPL and the satellite television business of UTPL and are therefore, not strictly comparable with the corresponding quarter and half year of the previous year, which does not include the figures of erstwhile GTPL and the demerged undertaking of UTPL.
