The company plans to publicly list asset vehicles and has filed S1 to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), relating to the proposed initial public offering of the common stock of a yieldco vehicle.
These vehicles will include assets in several countries, including India.
While Pashupathy Gopalan, President of SunEdison Asia, declined to comment whether Indian assets would be listed overseas, sources said the company’s assets in Tamil Nadu would be part of the global plan.
