Sunil Hitech Engineers Ltd, a fats growing company in the power sector has bagged orders worth Rs 649.22 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2008-09.
This has enabled the company’s order book to cross the Rs 1300 crore mark for the first time.
The company has bagged Engineering Procurement Contract (EPC) job for 30 Mw works and 60 KLPD distillery plant with 6000 TCD sugar for Gangakhed Sugar & Energy Pvt Ltd in Parbhani district. The project is worth Rs 329.62 crore. This is the biggest single order the company has bagged since its inception.
The company will be undertaking a Rs 216 crore earthwork project for Rajwest Power Ltd at Barmer in Rajasthan for excavation and disposal for a raw water reserve. It has also bagged turbine and boiler erection works worth Rs 103.6 crore in Maharashtra.
The orders bagged by the company in the first quarter amounts to 64.2 per cent of the order book position ending March 2008.
