Sunil Bharti Mittal, president, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is leading an 11-member delegation of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) to the United Kingdom, from June 24-26, 2007 to strengthen Indo-UK trade and investment linkages. Infrastructure, innovation and climate change will be core issues on the agenda of the delegation.The delegation includes Phiroz Adi Vandrevala, co-chair, IBP India and executive VP, Tata Consultancy Services; Y C Deveshwar, chairman, ITC; Sunil Kant Munjal, chairman, Hero Corporate Service; C K Birla, chairman, Hindustan Motors; Uday S Kotak, exec VC & MD, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Analjit Singh, chairman, Max (India) and others.During the two-day visit, the delegation of CEOs will meet members of parliament and various CEOs of the British Industry including Arun Sarin, chairman, Vodafone. "UK and India are critical for each other. One of the ways that CII reflects this is by taking the annual CII CEOs Mission to the UK, led traditionally by the CII President," Supriya Banerji, international head, CII said.
