Supreme Infra bags Rs 283 cr orders in Punjab, Delhi

Company has secured projects in highways and building construction segment

Engineering, procurement and construction player Supreme Infrastructure today said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 283 crore in Punjab and Delhi in the highways and building construction segment.

The company has bagged "Rs 117 crore order for a BOT [build, operate and transfer] road project from Punjab Public Works Department" and "order worth Rs 166 crore for building Project from Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board," Supreme Infrastructure India (SIIL) said in a statement.

About the Punjab project, it said it was "awarded in joint venture led by SIIL with SPML Infra Limited. EPC work of the project will be executed by SIIL. The project will be housed in the separate SPV".

The project pertains to development, operation and maintenance of Kotkapura-Muktsar Road (SH-16) on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis.

The other order, it said was bagged from Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) for construction of 3,400 five storeyed houses for economically weaker sections under JNNURM for slum dwellers at Pocket-II, Bhalaswa Jahangir Puri, New Delhi.

"The project value is approximately Rs 166 crore to be executed over a period of 18 months starting May 2012," the company said.

The company is present in seven verticals and six states in the infrastructure space.
