Surana Ventures net profit rises 87%

Income from operations jumps 85% to Rs 22 cr

Hyderabad-based solar energy systems company Surana Ventures Limited reported a net profit of Rs 1.1 crore for the quarter ended March, 2013, an increase of 86.52 per cent over Rs 58.97 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year. Income from operations grew 85 per cent to Rs 22.13 crore from Rs 11.96 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.

For the full year, the company reported an eight-fold jump in net profit to Rs 2.59 crore as compared to Rs 32.11 lakh while income from operations grew 30.61 per cent to Rs 94.9 crore as compared with Rs 72.66 crore in the previous year.
