Suzlon consolidated net loss in Q3 narrows to Rs 113 cr
The company's consolidated revenue rose 62% to Rs 1,891 cr
BS Reporter Mumbai Suzlon Energy's consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs 113.17 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 compared to Rs 6,538.68 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year and Rs 181.10 crore in the preceding quarter. The company’s consolidated revenue stood at Rs 1,891.30 crore, up 62% y-o-y but down 6.75% q-o-q.
Suzlon Energy's stock on BSE closed at Rs 20.30, up 7.69%.
Its consolidated core operating profit of Rs 240.78 crore for the quarter, declined by 18.4% y-o-y but clocked growth of 148% q-o-q. The order book as on December 31, 2015 stands at 897 MW valued at Rs 5,527 crore.
Suzlon Group chairman Tulsi Tanti, Chairman, said, “We continue to deliver strong revenue and profitability, and our order backlog is maintained at a healthy level."
