The Suzlon Energy IPO was subscribed 15 times on Day 1.According to data on the NSE website, bids were submitted for 44.34 crore shares as against the total issue size of 2.934 crore shares.The maximum bids (over 43 crore shares) have been made at the upper limit of the offer band of Rs 510 per share.The retail portion of the offer, which comprised of 86.26 lakh shares, however, witnessed bids for only 53,436 shares - a bid of 0.0062 times.No employees submitted bids on the first day as against the offer of 5.85 lakh shares.
